Admissions

Admission to reception at Primary school places for September 2018.

The online admission service to apply for a reception place for September 2018 service is now open. Please click here to start the process. Please read the instructions on the welcome page. This facility will be available until midnight on the closing date 15th January 2018. All applications received by the closing date will be treated equally. 

Key Dates

From 3 November 2017 – Letters sent out explaining how to apply for a school place for children starting reception. For children transferring to Junior school the letter will be sent to the infant school for them to hand out to the children. If you are a Gloucestershire resident and you still have not received a letter by December 2017 please contact coordinated admissions.

From 6 November 2017 to 15 January 2018 – Online application facility open

Monday 15 January 2018 – Closing date for all applications

Monday 16 April 2018 – Allocation Day

Monday 30 April 2018 – Closing date to return reply form accepting the School/Academy place or requesting to be put on waiting list/s

After Tuesday 15 May 2018 – Letters sent out advising outcome of waiting list requests

Tuesday  29 May 2018 – Closing date for return of reply forms

June 2018 to July 2018 – Appeals

How to apply for an in-year admission

You will need to complete an In-year application form (DOCX, 49.4 KB) for each child. Alternatively you can complete a PDF version of the In-year application form (PDF, 251.5 KB) . This can then be posted or taken into the school you have chosen.

Alternatively, you can complete and send the form directly to the school by email.
