Admissions

Admission to reception at Primary school places for September 2020.

The online admission service to apply for a reception place for September 2020 service is now open. Please click here to start the process. Please read the instructions on the welcome page. This facility will be available until midnight on the closing date 15th January 2020. All applications received by the closing date will be treated equally. 

Key Dates

Letters will be sent out in November to explain how to apply and applications close on Wednesday 15th January.  On Thursday 16th April, parents will be told where their child has been allocated.

From 4 November 2019 to 15 January 2020– Online application facility open

Wednesday 15 January 2020 – Closing date for all applications

Thursday 16 April 2020 – Allocation Day

Friday 24 April 2020 – Closing date to return reply form accepting the School/Academy place or requesting to be put on waiting list/s

After Friday 15 May 2020 – Letters sent out advising outcome of waiting list requests

Friday May 2020 – Closing date for return of reply forms

June 2020 to July 2020 – Appeals

How to apply for an in-year admission

You will need to complete an In-year application form (DOCX, 49.4 KB) for each child. Alternatively you can complete a PDF version of the In-year application form (PDF, 251.5 KB) . This can then be posted or taken into the school you have chosen.

Alternatively, you can complete and send the form directly to the school by email.
