Job Title: Clerk to Governors

Grade: Main Scale Grace G (pts 19 – 27) £19,446 – £24,657 pa pro rata

Attendance: Approximately 50 – 70 hours per year – to be confirmed

Leighterton Primary School is seeking to appoint a well-organised, enthusiastic person to clerk our governors meetings.  We are looking for a reliable person with good administration skills, who can prioritise their work.  The successful applicant will be required to clerk approximately four full Governing Body meetings per year and eight committee meetings.  These meetings take place during early evening.  The clerk will write and take minutes, advise on legal procedures and deal with correspondence.  Candidates must have access to a computer and be competent in the use of Microsoft Word, email and the internet.  This post would be suitable for someone with relevant office administration experience wishing to work part-time.  Training in relevant procedures will be provided.

LUNCHBREAK SUPERVISOR

We are seeking enthusiastic staff to join our midday supervision team at Leighterton Primary School.  This post is to support and develop active lunchtimes in our school grounds, as well as help to run and organise an efficient lunch hall.

We are looking for a reliable and energetic person who is committed to a team ethos and the safety and well-being of our children.

Lunchtime is from 12.00 – 1.00 pm and we would consider someone who wanted to work between one and five lunchtimes each week.
